Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Wuteve Global Academy ("we", "us"), which operates this website and the courses offered through it. We are based in Monrovia, Liberia. The academy is sponsored by Motiva Corporation Group of Companies.

By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.

About our certificates. Certificates are issued by Wuteve Global Academy itself. They are not accredited by, affiliated with, or recognised by any university or external institution, and they are not a formal academic qualification. What we do promise is that a certificate is genuine: every one carries a number and can be checked by anyone at a public verification link, so an employer can confirm that we really issued it, to whom, and for which course.

1. Your account

You can browse the course catalogue without an account. You need one to enrol.
Give accurate details and keep them current, especially your email address: email verification and password resets depend on it.
You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. If you are under 18, use the platform with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Keep one account per person. Do not share your password or let anyone else use your account, and keep your password to yourself.
You are responsible for what happens under your account.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Suspending an account signs it out everywhere.

2. Using the platform

Please do not:

use the platform for anything unlawful;
harass, threaten, or post hateful or defamatory content about anyone;
post spam, or advertise to other students;
scrape, crawl or bulk-download the platform, or use automated tools to access it;
attempt to break or bypass authentication, or access an account or data that is not yours;
upload malware or anything designed to disrupt the service;
copy, resell or republish course material, or share it outside the platform;
misrepresent a certificate, or claim it is accredited or a formal qualification.

3. Courses, instructors and prices

Instructors write and publish their own courses. Each course has its own price, set by the instructor who wrote it. Some courses are free.
The price shown on a course page before you enrol is the price that applies.
Free courses enrol you immediately. Paid courses go through checkout.
We may withdraw a course from the catalogue, and instructors may update their course content over time.

4. Payment

As of the date at the top of this page, no payment method is enabled on this platform. Free courses can be enrolled in immediately. Paid courses are listed with their prices but cannot currently be bought, and each payment option on a course page states which settings are still missing rather than simply disappearing.

When a payment method is enabled, this section will set out how payment, receipts, cancellation and refunds work. The terms in force at the time of a purchase will apply to that purchase.

5. Certificates

A certificate is issued automatically when you complete every lesson in a course.
Each certificate carries a number and a public verification page, which anyone can open without an account.
We may revoke a certificate obtained by fraud, or where an account is shown to have broken these terms. A revoked certificate's verification page reports it as revoked rather than quietly disappearing.
Certificates are issued to you and are not transferable.

6. What you post

You keep ownership of the content you write — discussion posts, replies, messages.
You give us permission to store, display and moderate that content so the platform can work. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except where it has been shared with others (a reply, for example).
Only post material you have the right to post.
We may remove content that breaks these terms.

7. Course content and intellectual property

Course content belongs to the instructor who wrote it, or to Wuteve Global Academy.
Enrolling gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to view that content for your own learning.
You may not copy, resell, redistribute or republish it, in whole or in part.
The academy's name, emblem and site design belong to us.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the platform available and your progress safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or withdraw features. We are not responsible for losses caused by interruptions or failures outside our reasonable control.

9. Ending this agreement

You may stop using the platform at any time, and ask us to close your account.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or where we have to for legal or security reasons.
The sections on certificates, intellectual property and liability survive the end of this agreement.

10. Disclaimers and limits on our liability

Courses are educational. They are not professional, legal, medical or financial advice.
The platform is provided "as is". We do not promise that course content is complete, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or opportunity.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Liberia, and disputes about them are subject to the courts of Liberia.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes. If you keep using the platform after an update, you accept the new terms. Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email.
